Where students live
- Blloku / Centre — walkable to UT, UPT and UMT. €220–300 for a room.
- Komuna e Parisit — quieter, 15 minutes by bus. €180–240.
- Qyteti Studenti — public dorms, from €60.
- Rruga e Elbasanit — beside the Faculty of Economy. €200–280.
What a contract must include
Names, address, rent, deposit, duration, who pays bills, and a signed inventory. Never pay a deposit before seeing the room.
Red flags
- Owner "abroad", asks for a transfer to see keys
- Price far below the neighbourhood average
- No written contract
